Opposable Thumbs
You know, when I have a bad day I sit back and think how much worse it would be if humans didn't have opposable thumbs. Just imagine for a moment humans with paws or hooves. Most of the things we do would not be possible without a great deal more effort. We couldn't hold anything very well, or surf channels with our thumb, or grab anything. I am very thankful for my opposable thumbs and don't believe that they get enough recognition.

I think you are right. Opposable thumbs ROCK! I am currently doing a paper about senators and their sponsoring stupid bills like the bill to commend UNC for winning the NCAA championship-- I think I will sponsor a bill commending opposable thumbs-- would you like to co-sponsor?
It will be a tough one to pull, but I am behind you on it. oooh- Maybe it could be a holiday that we could get a day off for. Now that would be cool. "National Opposable Thumbs Day."
