Wicked!

I read the greatest book. It is called Wicked by Gregory Maguire. It is basically the story of the Wicked Witch of the West from The Wizard of Oz. It is very insightful into the character of evil and fear. She makes so much more sense as to her motivations. I have always been a fan of the antihero stories, and this one is no exception.

Just as exciting, there is a musical for Wicked. I am hoping to see it this summer. I guess this post is less thought out and more random than most of my posts, but frankly, I am excited about the book and the musical, so I don't care.
