Assigned Groups
You know even in high school I wasn't a fan of being assigned a group. By college I thought that the non-workers that everyone dreads in a group would be weeded out. Sadly, that is not the case. When I was randomly assigned a group and I didn't recognize the names of two of the people because they never come to class, I knew that trouble was ahead on this project. In high school I would have picked up the slack of the group, but now I know that if I don't pick up the slack of the other members that the teacher knows who puts the work in and who doesn't. I will no longer be punished for the mistakes of others. If you are in college, responsibility should be an expectation, not a quality that only the best have. College is a privilege and more people should treat it as such.
