Even though I don't like "Jorge"

This is a really cool video of the Brazil team showing off their skills before a game. If only I had those skills. Let me know if you guys can see the video.

Finals Week

Ah, the semester is coming to a close, and I will soon be a senior. It is a bit scary to think I will be graduating about a year from now, but I am also ready for the next chapter of my life to begin. Bryan bought a new car, which should help his depressed mood. I had a rough day yesterday, but it was really just because I was tired and let things bother me that didn't matter. I hope that I can let things go more easily in the future. I guess we'll see how that goes. I watched youth play soccer today. They were just having fun, and results didn't matter as much. Guess this is a really random post, but too bad for you, you have already wasted a minute of your life reading it.

Apathy

I am posting on my blog, which obviously means that I have something more important to be doing. Recently, I have become quite distraught at the lack of caring that is exhibited by so many Lambuth students. They didn't come here to learn, they came here to play a sport and get an easy degree. What is the point of going to school if you don't care about knowledge? I can understand people getting occasionally burnt out and just trying to get by after some time, but what about the people who never cared? I don't know, I guess I am just tired of being surrounded by people who don't buy the books for a class, don't go to class (though I suppose I am technically not surrounded by them if they aren't there), ignore the teacher, put minimal effort in, or no effort at all. I feel very sorry for all of the professors at Lambuth who have to deal with such an apathetic student body.

Going out?

Maybe some people will say I am missing out on the college experience, but honestly I am glad I am not destroying my liver before I turn thirty. So many people at my school go out in the middle of the week, and then wonder why their grades are poor. I am not saying that all people should stay in their rooms like hermits and never go out, but it isn't something that has to be done as often as it is.
